This initiative is designed to revitalize and beautify the downtown area by providing financial assistance to business owners looking to upgrade their exterior façades and signage.
The MEDC is committed to supporting the visual enhancement and preservation of Mathis’s historic downtown district. To foster this development, the MEDC will provide a matching grant of up to $1,000 to businesses that qualify. This program is open to all commercial properties within Mathis city limits, with the aim of improving the general condition and curb appeal of buildings and storefronts.
Eligibility and Application
The application period for this grant is open now and will run through the fiscal year. Interested parties should note that all applications must receive prior approval from the MEDC before the commencement of any project-related work.
